The Beaverdam Library Media Center functions as the information center for our school, providing students with opportunities to develop a love for reading as well as the research skills they need to enjoy the benefits of lifelong learning.
Our librarian, Dianna MacPherson, collaborates with teachers to help reinforce the content they teach in the classrooms by ensuring cross-curricular alignment is in place. Students participate in coding and integrating 21st-century technology skills, which helps them achieve success.
Library Hours
7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Policies and Procedures
Students may check out books at any point during the day, with their teacher's permission.
Students are not fined for late materials; however, students may not be able to check out new materials until overdue items are returned. This will be determined on a case by case basis.
If materials are lost or damaged, there will be a fine for the price of the item and the required library-style binding.
